From Center Stage to the Classroom, the Show Must Go On
In the true spirit of ‘The Show Must Go On,’ a Needham, MA, high school recently found a creative way to present their annual school play despite the constraints of remote learning — so, through the power of audiovisual technology, with help from a talented team of teachers and a dynamic audiovisual assist, the drama students at Catholic Memorial School did a virtual presentation of the play “The Little Shop of Horrors” through Zoom.
As WCVB shared in their recent news story about this performance, the actors had to record lines and songs individually, without the instant feedback of a live audience — but the students pulled off the show without a hitch, using technology to their advantage. Center stage, so to speak, was the video wall installed by Trinity Dynamics.
