Massachusetts approves reimbursement of home remote patient monitoring
With recent approval by the Massachusetts legislature, the state commonly known as “The Bay State”, has become the twelfth state to allow Medicaid reimbursements of home remote patient monitoring conducted by home health agencies.
Remote Patient Monitoring(RPM) shifts the focus of care delivery into the home, providing real-time access and enabling more regular engagement with healthcare teams, empowering patients to become an integral part of their own continuum of care. These technologies are particularly useful for the elderly, chronically ill, and people who have trouble accessing traditional sites of care.
If your organization is seeking a low-cost, high-tech solution to provide accessible healthcare services, then contact a Trinity representative today.
